All performances take place at the Neighborhood Arts Center on SEPTEMBER 19th, 20th, 21st, 26th 27th and 28th 2008.
Synopsis:
Sylvia tells the story of Greg and Kate, middle-aged New Yorkers who have just moved back to Manhattan from the suburbs, now that their kids have grown and left the nest. But when Greg finds a stray dog in Central Park and brings her home, the feisty lab-poodle mix Sylvia (Played by a living actress) transforms Greg and Kates previously well-settled new life! Through advice from and encounters with a friend, a fellow dog owner, and a rather strange psychotherapistall played by one actorGreg and Kate try to cope with the devotion, soul-searching, jealousy, and general chaos Sylvia brings into their lives! A wonderful play that dog lovers (or just comedy lovers) will enjoy!

The Hanover Street Theatre's cast welcomes back some faces that will be familiar to past HST audiences and we know they will love our newcomers as well!
As always at the HST, "Sylvia" will be performed DESSERT THEATRE STYLE!
Ticket Prices: The Dessert Theatre Ticket is $15 for Adults and Seniors. It includes bakery fresh pie, cake or pastries and choice of beverage served at intermission in our cafe'!
Non-dessert Ticket Price is $12 for Adults and Seniors.
