Corporate Public Reporting on Social Responsibility and Sustainability
In this intensive professional development seminar you will learn how to create sustainable value for your company, clients or community through strategies around public reporting on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), citizenship and/or sustainability.
There are many compelling reasons for producing CSR reports. Increasing numbers of investment funds now exclude companies without CSR reports. Shareholder and environmental/social activists increasingly demand them. Most companies that have produced CSR reports find the effort has improved their basic business performance in many areas. And there are new interational reporting and auditing standards and legal requirements for CSR reports.
This fast-paced and interactive seminar will teach you the pros and cons, standards, guidelines and best practices for preparing CSR reports. Business managers, consultants in environment or community relations, economic development managers and many others will learn very practical strategies, tools and resources from a dynamic and internationally known instructor. Certified Public Accountants will receive 6 CPE credits, and attorneys will receive 2 CLE credits.
Participants will interact extensively with others and the instructor. You will create an outline for your own organization's CSR report that meets international standards for competence and clarity.
Participants will receive a course-book and a CDROM containing hundreds of useful publications on CSR best practices and reporting, organized in an annotated bibliography for easy access.
