Brooke Roe in Concert
Brooke started singing since she could talk, and hasnt stopped since. Her resume includes singing the National Anthem at an Indianapolis Colts (Go Horse!) game at 15 years old, and being a 3rd Round American Idol winner in 2010. Before the Band, Brooke had been singing solo on the County Fair circuit, and also opening for artists including Kenny Chesney, and Rascal Flatts. She still regularly performs the National Anthem for racing leagues, NBA, WNBA, and NFL games.
In the summer of 2011, Brooke was looking to hire a fiddle player to play on a few tracks of her upcoming EP. She found one in Indianapolis, who happened to also be named Brook (but no E!), who had been coming off of a hiatus in the music scene. The two fast became friends, and musically bonded quickly.
The more the two played, the more it became apparent that this was just the beginning of something great. They started looking to expand into a band to complete the new sound. At the same time, coincidentally, a few friends of Brook were rebuilding another band that year (the rest of us!). All six of us agreed to meet, greet, and play some music. We covered A Little Bit Stronger by Sara Evans, just to see how everything would sound.
The synergy was felt and heard.
The Brooke Roe Band was born.
