Brooklyn Forest School Fall 2012 Enrollment
Brooklyn Forest School offers outdoor classes for parents and their
toddlers in Prospect Park. The children play in the dirt, search for
wildlife and run across the park's wide open meadows. It's a simple
class centered around play and nature, a time for the children to move
fast and freely without their caregivers worrying about fast cars.
We think it's what children growing up in the city crave: free play and
nature. Which is probably why the weekly parent-toddler group we
started with a few families from the Brooklyn Waldorf School has grown
into a much larger community of wonderful families from all around
Brooklyn. From Williamsburg, from Coney Island, from just next door in
Park Slope, parents and their children are coming to nature, to play.
