Financial Aid Tips & Tricks
What steps do parents need to take to maximize student financial aid? What is the difference between FAFSA and CSS/Profile? How do merit aid and scholarships work? If you're divorced, whose information is reported? What is a priority deadline? How do you find out what those deadlines are? Do you need to fill out financial aid forms if you just want a student loan? What is work study? What should you do if your situation has changed since you filed your 2015 tax return? Some colleges have financial aid deadlines as early as November 1st. Join us and learn the best way to get this done.
We'll go through the brand new process that starts this fall -- lots of changes, even if you filed financial aid forms for older students.
You'll leave with the information you need to begin completing the financial aid forms, identify scholarship opportunities, and know the right questions to ask financial aid offices at colleges on your student's list.
>>This seminar is free for Peak Admissions program families and friends, but please register so that we can print materials for you to bring home. It is primarily for parents of seniors, but parents with younger students are welcome to attend.
