MHFA - Adult Module - Stokes County
From the drop down arrow above, please select one of the two dates available for this 8 hour class - Thursday, October 27 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. or Thursday, November 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Please be at your location by 8:15 a.m.) There will be a 30 minute break for lunch. Only one date needs to be selected per person.

In order to accommodate up to 50 people total each day, each date includes two sessions and two separate conference rooms at the same general address. There will be 25 people max per classroom each day. Please select the date that works best for your schedule.

3rd Floor Conference Room

Mental Health First Aid is a groundbreaking education program that helps the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.  The 8-hour training course is designed to provide members of the public important skills to assist someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Mental Health First Aid training helps an individual assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis and is often compared to CPR training that helps a layperson without medical training assist an individual following a heart attack.
