Vegetarian Heart Healthy Delights - Katherine's Culinary Experiences
Whether you are a practicing vegetarian or have frequent guests who are, let us help you design delicious menus for everyone at the table. Forget the old notions of meatless entrees and explore your creative side with extraordinary items like our Zucchini Corn Cakes, Tortellini Primavera, Winter Couscous Salad with Fresh Citrus, Edamame Salad with dried cherries, Roasted Corn, Avocado, Fresh Dill, Plum Tomatoes and Cucumber tossed in a zesty lime dressing and Wild Mushroom Spinach Risotto. Finish with a lesson in preparing a Poached Pear Almond Tart.
Our goal is to make these fun and valuable - a great thing to do with friends or a nice way to meet some new people.

Chef Todd Stapnowski has been leading the Katherine's kitchen production team since 2001. Chef Todd graduated from the Oakland Community College Culinary Arts Program, and has been honored with several awards. They include a bronze medal from the American Culinary Federation for his outstanding hors d'oeuvre presentation. He won a Gold Medal in the Sysco chef 'cook off', and he was also honored by the American Culinary Federation at the Plymouth Ice Carving Show with both Silver and Gold Medals.
Prior to his teaming with Katherine's, Chef Todd brought his amazing talent to Main Street Ventures, The Detroit Athletic Club, Washtenaw Country Club and the Gandy Dancer. He is thrilled to be teaching these Culinary Experiences, and continues to educate himself and his amazing team of culinary professionals.
Classes begin in January 2008 and will be held Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8PM.
