Tamales are a holiday tradition in many Latin cultures, where everyone gathers for a tamale-making party. Chef Dio leads us in a tamalada at the Co-op; we'll make homemade masa, then we'll prepare and enjoy red chili chicken tamales; green chili and pepper jack cheese tamales; fire-roasted salsa, and avocado crema.

Instructor: Dionisio Esperas

This is a hands-on class. Students will enjoy a generous taste of each recipe  and take their own tamales home; a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to students 21 and over.
