"There is always music amongst the trees in the garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it."
19 September 2016, 7:30 p.m. The Atrium at 21 Shaftesbury Avenue, Summerhill subway
The tree is the founding image for Toronto Masque Theatre's 2016/17 season. Each production uses the tree either as metaphor or as a powerful lesson that can inspire us. It therefore seemed apt that the first event of the season should feature an exploration of poetry and songs inspired by trees as well as a short talk on the significance of trees in literature.
Featuring:
Larry Beckwith, host Derek Boyes, actor Jo Greenaway, piano & members of the Elizabeth McDonald Voice Studio
Hosted and sponsored by TMT patrons Walter and Marina Unger, the evening will include snacks, tea, coffee, and a cash bar.
