G45 Productions is an artistic collective made up of 25 young artists from New York City, all recent graduates of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts. It is in its 2nd year. Students gather every summer to produce a season of works. This year their mainstage productions will be Where Were Born by Lucy Thurber at the Tank theater (August 1st-7th). The group strives to produce a body of diverse, actor-driven theatrical works, whether new works and revivals or anything in between. With each new summer and production artists from g45 Productions explore different facets of the theatrical process with the fundamental language of acting, whether it be direct, write, produce, stage manage, and design as a means to expand and inform their acting training.

You can check them out at g45productions.com or on Instagram g45productions or twitter @g45productions.

IRT Theater is a grassroots laboratory for independent theater and performance in New York City, providing space and support to a new generation of artists. Tucked away in the old Archive Building in Greenwich Village, IRTs mission is to build a community of emerging and established artists by creating a home for the development and presentation of new work. Some of the artists we have supported include Young Jean Lee, Reggie Watts and Mike Daisey.

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, Office of Council Member Corey Johnson and The Nancy Quinn Fund, a project of ART-NY.
