Cinderella
The musical "Cinderella," first produced in 1957, is Rodgers and Hammerstein's only one written for television. It was presented live on CBS and served as a vehicle for Julie Andrews' rise to fame. It was remade for television twice more, once in 1965 with Leslie Ann Warren, and again in 1997 with Brandy starring as Cinderella. Its timeless charm has remained consistent throughout its various recreations, bringing memorable songs and wonderful characters to delight audiences young and old.
