Youth Link's 26th Annual Community Leadership Awards
Since 1990, Bellevue Youth Link Program has been providing nationally recognized quality youth leadership and community service programs in the City of Bellevue. Youth participants serve in leadership roles through the Youth Link Board, Bellevue Youth Council, and various Action Teams and committees planning special events and projects including city-wide youth conferences, coat drives, youth business leadership course, youth court, and other youth driven projects.
Each year, Bellevue Youth Link hosts an annual community youth recognition awards event where young people are nominated by their peers, teachers, school staff, parents, and other caring adults. A total of 21 awards are given to young people ranging from academics to community service. The entire celebration is planned and organized by young people from the event theme to the selection of award winners.
This year, the Community Leadership Awards event will be on Wednesday, May 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Bellevue City Hall. The event is free but spaces are limited. We requests that guests RSVP for the event.
If you are interested in nominating a student or youth, please visit our web site at www.youthlink.com and complete the online nomination form. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, May 13 at 5 p.m. For questions or more info about the event, please contact our office at 425-452-5254 or email Patrick Alina at palina@bellevuewa.gov
