DANIEL BONESPUR:

Often inspired by the many theatre productions he devises as a Composer and Performer, Daniel Bonespur's songs slyly position listeners between evocative story-telling and arcane emotions. Tending to embrace atypical song structures, Bonespur sprawls wholeheartedly with piano, guitar, and voice inciting a fresh combination of candid sound and thought. Sort of like if your dreams dreamt you and not the other way around.

Daniel's in Love is an 8 song collection of odd country tunes, uncanny piano ballads and spirited symphonic squiggles. Recorded last spring at The Children's Theatre during some midnight hours, the album features a band made up of Skyler Nowinski (The Controversial New 'Skinny Pill', Rupert Angeleyes), Ben Peterson (Steele Arundel, The Hammsmen), string/woodwind arrangements by Noah Ophoven-Baldwin (Six Families), and female chamber-choir Artemis (2016 participants in the Cedar Cultural Center's 416 Club Commission).

In 2014, Bonespur recorded a sparse and debauched EP entitled Dead People. Zig-zagging the country three times over playing bars, clubs, community centers, record shops, and house shows, he was fortunate to witness the profound effect music has on our daily lives.

Now following the release of Daniel's In Love, Bonespur will play a series of shows down the West Coast in June and a stint through the Southern States in July and August.

ERIC MAYSON:

Eric Mayson was born in Corpus Christie Texas to a musical father and mother who worked in museums.  He and his family moved around the US until finally putting down roots in Minneapolis when he was 16.  He starting playing piano when he was a toddler, eventually picking up the cello, guitar, and bass.  He has worked as an actor, a director, composed and music directed several musicals, and regularly makes music with twin cities dance artists.  In 2009 his house in Mankato burned down, so he moved to Minneapolis and started working with Crunchy Kids, where he found a love for producing and playing hip-hop.  Since then he has worked with Big Cats, Toki Wright, Doomtree, and Lizzo, among others.  Also a member of Caroline Smiths band, Mayson has solidified his place as a valuable collaborator in the twin cities music scene.  In 2015 with the help of RiverRock Music Group, he released Detail, his first solo record.  A 40 minute cassette tape spanning/inventing many genres with only one track break.
