The Telegraph Quartet
The Telegraph Quartet, headquartered in Berkeley and winners of the prestigious Bischoff String Quartet competition, makes its Sonoma debut will perform an exceptional program, including Mozarts String Quartet K. 428, and the great Death and the Maiden quartet by Schubert.
The award winning Telegraph Quartet, based in the Bay Area, makes its premier in Sonoma on Sunday, April 17, when they perform in concert at Vintage House Sonoma, 264 First Street East, at 3:00 pm. The Quartet, which won the Grand Prize in the 2014 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, has a passionate commitment to the standard chamber music repertoire as well as contemporary and non-standard repertoire alike. They will perform Mozarts Quartet in E-flat major, K. 428, the third of the five Mozart Haydn Quartets; Erwin Schulhoffs Five Pieces for String Quartet (1923), and Beethovens Quartet in E-minor, Op. 59, No. 2, Razumovsky, the second of his three great Razumovsky quartets. This concert is the third in the Sonoma Classical Music Societys 2016 season.
