Benefit Jazz Concert for Haiti Featuring Taylor Eigsti
Amelie's Angels was founded in 2013 after Amelie Le Moullac was tragically killed on her bicycle in San Francisco. This non-profit, operating under the auspices of St. Mark's Church in Palo Alto, provides hot meals and education for the children of Pacasse, Haiti.
31-year old New York-based pianist and composer Taylor Eigsti started playing the piano when he was 4 years old, was quickly labeled a prodigy, and has since released 7 albums as a leader in the jazz world.
Taylor has had the good fortune of performing, touring or recording with such luminaries as Dave Brubeck, Joshua Redman, Chris Botti, Sting, Joshua Bell, Marian McPartland, Red Holloway, John Mayer, James Moody,among many others over the years.
Eigsti's career has involved much global touring, and he has performed at many premiere venues throughout the world, including the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, Salle Pleyel, David Geffen Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Davies Symphony Hall, and many top festivals including Montreal Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, Stockholm Jazz Festival,Sydney Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, Chicago Jazz Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, and many more performances worldwide, including a private performance for former President Bill Clinton.
