Engaging the Next Generation of Collaborative Leaders
The William D. Ruckelshaus Center would like to invite you to a FREE professional development reception entitled Engaging the Next Generation of Collaborative Leaders on Friday, April 29th from 3:00 4:30 pm at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture. This two-part event is intended to provide students and young professionals with 1) an opportunity to network with prominent members of the Ruckelshaus Center Advisory Board over light hors doeuvres, and 2) an open forum for voicing your opinion on:
*The current state of civil public discourse, both in our state and in Washington D.C. *What good governance means to you *How you see yourself becoming more involved with the Ruckelshaus Center
Possible attendees include:
*Former EPA Director and 2015 Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient, Bill Ruckelshaus *Former Washington Governors Dan Evans and Christine Gregoire *Former U.S. Senator Slade Gorton *Former Congressman Norm Dicks *Bill Gates, Sr. *President Ana Mari Cauce (UW) and Interim President and Provost Dan Bernardo (WSU) *Democratic and Republican state legislators, *Business leaders such as JP Morgan Chase Northwest Chairman Phyllis Campbell and former CEO of Delta Air Lines Jerry Grinstein, *Leaders of northwest Native American tribes, and many other local and regional leaders.
