"With Strings Attached," Vox Nova Chamber Choir & DaPonte String Quartet
Vox Nova Chamber Choir, under the direction of Shannon Chase, will join artistic forces with the DaPonte String Quartet to present, With Strings Attached, a concert program of music for chamber choir and string quartet. Concerts will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 15 Pleasant Street in Brunswick, Maine on Saturday, April 9th at 3:00pm & 7:30pm and on Sunday, April 10th at 3:00pm.


This exhilarating concert features the song cycle, "The Golden Harp," by American composer Gwyneth Walker and the poetry of Rabindranath Tagore. Rose Horowitz, Poetry Out Loud Maine State Champion of 2015, will perform the readings. Also on the program, Eric Whitacres "Five Hebrew Love Songs" set to poems by Hila Plitmann.

Concert sponsor is HM Payson.

Tickets available online starting April 1, 2016, and at the venue on date of performance.

$20 General Admission.  $10 admission for current college students with I.D. card.
