In 2015 the long running Caras Park Hemp fest in Missoula was unable to take place. We are grateful for the many years that the Missoula Hemp Council blessed our state with their festival and understand why they could no longer support the festival.

Once that announcement was made many ideas of Hemp festivals swarmed around but sadly in 2015 there was no Missoula Hempfest.

In 2016 we made some major decisions (and so did the supreme court) and mainly the decision was that we need this educational festival NOW more than EVER and that we would find the people and the support to make it happen! Here we are! This festival is run by a family just like yours. We aren't big time promoters, we aren't investors- WE ARE A MONTANA FAMILY and we are doing this because we believe in this powerful plant and its many uses.

This festival is about entertainment, education, collaboration and lets not forget ..... celebration too!

Members of our family are medical marijuana patients and we fear Montana's recent regression and the effect it will have on our loved ones. We have been personally experienced prescription drug death in this family and will fight until our last days to give patients access to safe medicine that can make them well and keep them comfortable without the MANY side effects of pharmaceuticals!

We believe that Montana is falling behind on this front and needs a place to rise up and gain momentum, we love our great state and want it to evolve NOW!!!

We invite everyone to come collaborate, share stories, hear stories and relax with like minded people at the First Annual Montana State Hemp and Cannabis Festival taking place on September 9th, 10th and 11th at the Lolo Hotsprings resort.

There is limited camping space so please plan ahead and stay with us all weekend!
