- Opening night is Thursday, April 14, 2016.
- Eight performances from April 14 through April 24, 2016.
- Evening performances are Thursday - Saturday, April 14 - 16 and April 21 - 23, 2016.
- Matinee performances are Sundays, April 17 and April 24, 2016.
- Grandparents Day is Sunday, April 17, 2016, with special pricing for grandparents and children age 10 and under.

The Wizard of Oz is considered the greatest American family musical of all time. You will be swept away by our celebration of this iconic 1939 MGM film. This lavish production features magical special effects, dazzling choreography and the classic songs you love. The Company is well known for producing some of the highest quality community theatre in the region.
True to L. Frank Baum's heartwarming tale of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Company brings its first performance of 2016 with this timeless classic to you and your family. The Company has produced many Elly nominated and awarded talented performers, designers, and technicians.
This musical will feature the Placer County Youth Orchestra under the direction of Margie Hartung.
The Wizard of Oz is directed by Shere "Mama Jones" Freedman.
About The Company: The Company is a theatrical troupe comprised of students in the Del Oro High School Theatre Arts program and includes parents, faculty and theatre professionals. Its members are devoted to producing high quality theatre and bringing real life experience to high school students. The Company has taken on several challenging productions including its critically acclaimed 2014 production of Les Miserables, 2015 production of West Side Story, and many others.
About PCYO: The Placer County Youth Orchestra (PCYO) is a community youth orchestra serving the Rocklin, Roseville, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Newcastle, and Auburn areas. PCYO focuses on providing a comprehensive musical education for students while fostering a sense of musicianship and duty to their community. Its goal is to work closely with schools, private teachers, and organizations throughout Placer County to make orchestral music available to everyone.
