Birding by Kayak
Renowned Philly birder and environmental educator Tony Croasdale will take us out on the Schuylkill at dusk for an informal bird paddle. We'll get a unique opportunity to glide along the shoreline in kayaks and canoes and scope out mudflats and wooded riverbanks for bird life. Life jackets and boats will be provided, and we'll have at least a couple pairs of binoculars to let you borrow if you don't have a pair of your own. Snacks and cool beverages will be available as well!
