Exploring Power, Privilege and Tools for Change Retreat
Exploring Power, Privilege, and Tools for Change Retreat is a two and a half-day retreat that includes diversity training and provides tools to develop action-based solutions at the individual, interpersonal/group, and organization levels. Participants explore their individual lenses and filters and the role of power and privilege in the environmental movement. The retreat provides tools to diversify organizations, including utilizing multi-cultural organizational development models and the Center for Diversity & the Environment's Equity Audit. Participants leave with resources and tools to diversify their workplace, skills to create change in their spheres of influence and personal action plans.
Exploring Power, Privilege, and Tools for Change Retreat July 11-13, 2012 EARLY BIRD Registration Fee: $895 per person (DEADLINE JUNE 11) Regular Registration Fee: $1050 per person (after June 11) Registration includes meals, lodging and retreat sessions
Retreat location: Alton Collins Retreat Center 32867 SE Highway 211 Eagle Creek, OR (about 40 minutes outside of Portland, OR)
Cancellation Policy: A $150.00 per person Cancellation Fee will be applied toward any cancellations received more than 21 Days prior to event start date. If cancellations are received less than 21 days prior to event start date, the retreat registration fee is non-refundable.
