Hipster Shoreditch and Street Art - February
horeditch-PopUps-Street Art-Community Projects
East London has been the creative and artistic centre of London for the last decade, known for its hipsters, creatives, PopUps and Indian food.
In the last few years Shoreditch really transformed from being one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the United Kindom to a thriving and vibrant community that people love to discover.
Every street you walk is covered with spectacular Street art and Graffiti which has contributed to transforming this once Victorian slum to one of the greatest open air galleries in the world. International Graffiti and Street Artists to are constantly changing the way this part of London looks.
The PopUp scene, street food markets and food trucks have really exploded over the last few years. London was never known as a place for great food, now we are.
No trip to the East End would be complete without visiting a pioneering community project, a garden built by volunteers helping provide a community space, vegetable beds and an event area and obviously walls covered with great art.
What we do on this tour:
We wind our way through the old Victorian cobbled streets stopping and searching for the newest and freshest pieces of Graffiti and Street Art. If you want to see a Banksy we know where to find them. We shall introduce you to over 40 different artists and explain the techniques, methods and instruments used to create one of the worlds greatest outdoor galleries. No doubt on this tour you will see variations of art forms: 3D, Murals, Posters, Writing, Sculptures, Stencils, Fine Art, Cartoon, Photorealism it's all over the streets of Shoreditch.
We have designed this tour to take in some of the latest trending street food and PopUp stalls. We know how difficult it can be to find a good coffee or chose the right place to eat especially in Shoreditch with so much happening. Depending on the on what the latest PopUp is will depend on where we take you.
We finish the tour at the Nomadic community garden where you get to explore and meet the people behind a truly innovative concept.
