To Know or Not to Know: That Has Been the Question
At The Hooker Dunham Theater in Brattleboro, VT on Saturday, January 30th at 8:00. The story of one man's struggle coming to terms with a painful history that his family kept secret to protect everyone from agonizing truths. Ron tells of his journey from avoiding the truth to seeking it. The story takes us from South Africa to San Francisco, from Nazi Germany to Boston.
Ron Goldman has performed in numerous Public radio broadcasts, including specially adapted versions of A Child's Christmas in Wales, A Christmas Carol Alice in Wonderland, Murder in the Rue Morgue, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, and Hecuba.
After training with Shakespeare and Company, Ron wrote (with Marjorie Zohn) Interplay-- a one-person play depicting a psychotherapist's interactions with a Shakespearean actor. Ron has performed the play in Boston, Santa Fe, St. Louis and at Shakespeare and Company. He played Menenius in Actor's Shakespeare Project's production of Coriolanus.
Most recently, he won third place in Boston's MassMouth Storytelling competition. Apart from performing and storytelling, Ron has a private psychotherapy practice in Brookline, Massachusetts.
