Don't Go Into The Cellar are a practitioners of some of the finest and edgiest Victorian theatre in the country. They travel around the country thrilling, scaring and generally impressing audiences with their original tales of Victorian adventure and Horror.
Come and shiver with fear and delight at this alternative to the mundane Valentine's treat, no roses or soft candles, but terror and blood curdling stories, feasting and a trip into Lancaster's macabre past with a tour into the darkness that is Lancaster Castle. Eat a splendid meal and sip a drink or two whilst being treated to a spine-tingling night of entertainment.
Stiff Upper Lip Productions are the same team that brings A Splendid Day Out to Morecambe twice a year, and are more than happy to present this production to you in the Victorian Splendour of the Storey Gallery in the heart of Lancaster. In partnership with Lancaster City Council, The Storey and NICE Restaurant, we present the first of hopefully a series of alternative and splendid events.
