Santa Claus is coming to town, and so is a rather silly dog! PaintBox Theatre presents our third annual, all new, live Santa Show! Everyone deserves a Christmas present, right? But what about Santa? Mrs. Claus has come up with the perfect idea: a doggie. The show is called Santa Gets a Puppy, because it sounds great, but the dog isn't really a puppy. This is a full-grown hound, a rescue, and, they say, very, very smart. Perfect for Santa!
In order to surprise Santa, everyone has to keep the gift a secret. Santa's dog (Troy David Mercier) is quite the rascal, but have no fear. With a few doggie treats and a couple of Ho, Ho, Hos, he'll prove to be a perfect co-pilot for Santa.
Be prepared for plenty of audience participation, a few lessons in dog-training, and Mrs. Claus reciting "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." Add in a sing along of favorite Santa songs during the intermission and this is sure to be a perfect holiday celebration for one and all.
This year's Santa Show stars Linda Tardif as Mrs. Claus, a handful of elves, Blitzen (the reindeer), and Santa, as himself (of course). Artistic Director Tom McCabe wrote and directs the show.
NOTE ON RESERVING TICKETS: It is general seating. You are more than welcome to purchase your tickets at the door on the night of the performance.

The performance for Thursday Night is a Two for One for everyone. Basically the tickets are $5.00 each.

We have made coupons available through children's libraries throughout the Pioneer Valley. If you have a Two for One coupon you have two choices. You can purchase your tickets with the coupon at the theatre on the day of the performance OR you can purchase a ticket here (click on the coupon option) and bring the coupon with your online ticket on the night of the performance.
