She formed Samirah Evans & Her Handsome Devils in 2007 and has performed at clubs, concert halls and music festivals throughout the northeast. In 2011, Evans released Hot Club: Live at the Vermont Jazz Center (Misha Records), her third CD and first recorded outside of Louisiana. She has shared stages with legendary artists James Brown, B.B. King, Irma Thomas, Sheila Jordan, Terence Blanchard, and Donald Harrison, Jr., among others in her career, and has toured Europe, Asia and South America as a headliner. Evans is the curator of the Ladies and Jazz series at the Arts Block in Greenfield, MA. Evans is also a faculty member of Williams College and MCLA, where she teaches voice. Annie Lawrence Guyon of the Rutland Daily Herald describes Samirah Evans as "having an effervescent presence and mellifluous, dynamic voice."

Miro Sprague, is a jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader known for his dynamic performance style and inspiring creativity. A recent graduate of the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance, Miro has toured the United States, Europe, and Japan and has performed with Greg Osby, Jerry Bergonzi, Matt Wilson, Linda Oh, Karrin Allison, Reggie Workman, and Sheila Jordan, among others. According to Armen Donelian, pianist, composer, and faculty at New School University Jazz, "Miro Sprague is among the most talented young composer/pianists of his generation."

The TreeCat Café is a new monthly cafe and performance venue run by youth of the Treehouse Community, a unique inter-generational community designed to support families who are fostering and adopting children from the foster care system. The TreeCat Café provides high school and college-aged youth at Treehouse with work experience and training in business skills. Youth take on and manage every aspect of the Café: marketing, accounting, fundraising, cooking, and hosting. Local business owners and elders of the Treehouse Community offer their expertise and mentor youth in entrepreneurial skills. To date, the TreeCat Café has hosted three successful performances with close to 100 people in attendance for each event. Tapas-style food prepared by the youth is served. According to attendees at the last performance, "The sweet potato ravioli was the best I have ever had." "The ravioli just melted in your mouth."

Admission is a suggested donation of $20 for general public and $5 for Treehouse community members. Donations will help to fund the TreeCat Café and other youth programs at Treehouse.
