Lawrence and Holloman
"What happens when a self absorbed optimist befriends a suicidal cynic? Torture, mayhem!. Lawrence, the eternally cheery suit salesman, lives in a sunny surreality all his own where everyone loves him, and his new pal Holloman is a nerdy shoe salesman who lives with his mother. Where in fact, Holloman is not a nerdy shoe salesman. Holloman is just a regular drone bogged down in the mire of his own hopeless thoughts and fears. Day after day Lawrence boisterously espouses his views on everything from god to food to sex to sales. Holloman, finds the meaning in plotting to undermine and ultimately destroying Lawrence. As Lawrence finds the silver lining behind each new cloud, Holloman must find increasingly bizarre and cruel ways to bring the rain. From renowned Canadian playwright Morris Panych, Lawrence and Holloman is one of the funniest plays you will ever see. Deftly performed by Matt Moore and Eason Donner under the able direction of Edward Claudio this production is unlike any currently running in Sacramento."
