NOOKY JONES:

Nooky Jones is a Twin Cities based neo-soul group featuring Cameron Kinghorn (vocals), Adam Meckler (Trumpet), Ryan Christianson (Trombone), Kevin Gastonguay (keyboards), Andrew Foreman (bass) and Reid Kennedy (drums).  With influences from D'Angelo and Robert Glasper to Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, Nooky Jones has performed at several major venues in the Twin Cities, and toured the Midwest including stops in Kansas City and Chicago.

"Nooky Jones blends soul, jazz, R&B, and funk to create a warm, deeply grooving sound.  Their band is made up of some of the most forward thinking players from this corner of the scene."  Andrea Swensson, 89.3, The Current.

"Like a good merlot, Nooky Jones is a little chocolatey, with hints of soul and hip hop, deliciously danceable, and with a smooth finish." - Steve Peterson, Rift Magazine

ERIC MAYSON:

Eric Mayson was born in Corpus Christie Texas to a musical father and mother who worked in museums.  He and his family moved around the US until finally putting down roots in Minneapolis when he was 16.  He starting playing piano when he was a toddler, eventually picking up the cello, guitar, and bass.  He has worked as an actor, a director, composed and music directed many musicals, and regularly makes music with several twin cities dance companies.  In 2009 his house in Mankato burned down, so he moved to Minneapolis and started working with Crunchy Kids where he found a love for producing and playing hip-hop.  Since then he has worked with Big Cats, Toki Wright, Doomtree, and Lizzo, among many others.  Also a member of Caroline Smiths band, Mayson has solidified his place as a valuable collaborator in the Twin Cities music scene.  In 2015, with the help of RiverRock Music Group, he released Detail, his first solo record, a 40-minute cassette tape spanning/inventing many genres with only one track break.
