Wine Maker dinner with Francisco Carrau
Francisco Carrau, winemaker at Bodegas Carrau in Las Violetas Uruguay will be with us at Cueva Bar sharing his knowldege and winemaking ideas. Bodegas Carrau was the first gravity flow winery in South America.
He was named "Uruguayan Game Changer" by Master Sommerlier Evan Goldstein in his book Wines of South America. During the dinner, Francisco can describe wines of Uruguay, their gravity flow winery the 1st in South America and the Tannat grape, which he is doing DNA research on.
