Catholic School Girls
Catholic School Girls by Casey Kurtti is a memory play, where you will drift in and out of reality. The play takes place in the 1960's at St. George's Catholic School in Yonkers New York. This play is a satire, you will see the girls experience bonds of friendship, reprimands from authority figures and pressures from home. They react to The Beatles, The Supremes and the election of a Catholic president (an Irish Catholic President). The play starts off in the 1st grade and you will see these girls mature through out the play to the 8th grade. Also, the four woman in the play are both the children and they play the Nuns as well. You will have an amazing time going down memory lane. Even if you didn't go to a Catholic School we are sure you will be able to relate to something.
