Sustayne Certified Consultant Training
Through your training, you will be taken through all of the exercises, lessons, worksheets and activities in the Client Toolkit with time for feedback, discussion and practice. We will work closely with you to apply your life experience to the business development examples used throughout the Toolkit. Topics include identifying and aligning goals, organizational feasibility studies, and detailed financial analysis. Please contact us to request a list of the tools or sample exercises.
As a Sustayne Certified Consultant, you become part of an expanding network of social entrepreneurs working to change the world, one business at a time. You may use the Sustayne Toolkit and methodology for one-on-one client work, idea vetting sessions, or to produce the full 9-day business planning workshop. As part of your training, we help you identify your preferred method of delivery to your clients.
To become a Sustayne Certified Consultant you must have significant experience as an entrepreneur, consultant, educator or other profession that sustains innovative business development, and you must complete a three-day course with Sustayne founder Kirsten Gagnaire. The cost is $5,000 per person (plus travel, lodging, some meals) and includes a comprehensive Consultant Guide, the materials necessary to work with clients, including PowerPoint presentations, two Client Toolkits (additional Toolkits are available for $100 each), and lunch.
Once certified, your name will be listed on the Sustayne website and inquiries received from your area will be referred to you; we currently receive requests for Sustayne workshops and idea-vetting sessions from around the country. We will also list your events on our calendar. To help promote your business, we will add your Tips from Sustayne Certified Consultants to the Sustayne website and will highlight your work in our newsletter.
Sustayne was developed by Social Enterprise Group (SEG) and the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI), and is based on the life work of BGI founder Gifford Pinchot III.
The next training will take place November 1-2, 2007
