THE SOMADDICS Body-based Improvisation
Julie Oak's RealPlay presents: The SOMADDICS 2nd debut performance of improvisational physical theater. We ride the currents of movement, sound, and word to the far corners of our psyches, creating dreamlike terrains of poetry, story and play.
We are committed to the union of body heart and mind - of conscious and unconscious through this embodied style of movement theater improvisation. RealPlay includes tenets of dance and theater improvisation, melded for spontaneously created physical theater, often incorporating autobiographical material.
