After more than five decades of political isolation and mutual antipathy, Cuba and the U.S. are reestablishing diplomatic relations as a likely prelude to increased travel, trade, and investment by U.S. citizens and businesses.  The question is no longer whether, but when, that vision will be realized.

Opening remarks from U.S. Congressman Tom Emmer(Minnesota, 6th District)will be followed by a panel discussion with the Congressman and senior executives from the Minnesota business community on when Cuba will liberalize and the business opportunities it will create for Minnesota firms. Panelists include:

-- Rodrigo Medina, Senior Director of Legal and Compliance for Latin America, Medtronic
-- Larry Chestler, Executive Vice President of Business Development for Sun Country Airlines
-- Andrew Loder,Vice President,Global Transformation Leader for Cargill Animal Nutrition.

The session will be moderated by Professor Paul Vaaler, the John and Bruce Mooty Chair in Law and Business, Law School and Carlson School of Management.
