3rd Annual Desert Gathering Jewish Music Fest
3rd Annual Desert Gathering Jewish Music Fest
Performers include: Mikey Pauker and Diwon, Ari Lesser, Todd Herzog, Yehudie and the Gefilte Fish, students from Pardes and Phoenix Hebrew Academy and clergy from temples around Phoenix
THE EVENT WILL RUN FROM 2-6 PM ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2015 at Steele Indian School Park in downtown Phoenix. The park is centrally located and is on the light rail for convenient access. Parking will also be available in the park lots (approximately 900 spaces available to us). VIP Festival attendees will have designated parking in close proximity to the performance stage and VIP Tent.
DOORS WILL OPEN AT 2PM. This year's event will take place on the main green space in the park, which will allow us to incorporate the stage area with the vendor, arts & crafts and kids areas. This will give the event a very cohesive and unified feel. Attendees will have the option of purchasing reserved VIP seating (get rid of directly in front of the stage) or bringing their own blanket or lawn chair to watch the concert from anywhere on the grassy area. Guests will also have plenty of room to toss a frisbee around or kick a soccer ball in the nearby fields. There will be activities planned for the kids, and there is also a playground for young families adjacent to the concert area.
Vendors will be open all afternoon and will be offering food of all different types. Kosher and non-Kosher options will be clearly marked on the banners next to each vendor. There will be a fully-catered VIP tent that will have refreshments and food available to VIP ticket holders throughout the course of the event. VIP guests will also have the opportunity to mix and mingle with the performing artists from the festival.
The event will conclude at approximately 6pm just after sundown.
