Flag of My Father Movie Screening-First Annual Operation Initiative Benefit
District 7250 and the Glen Cove Rotary presents the First Annual Operation Initiative Benefit, celebrating the United States Military with a memorable reception and a private screening of the award winning film, Flag of My Father, at the Tribeca Cinemas (54 Varick Street
New York, NY 10013) in New York City on February 10, 2012 at 7:30pm. Reception from 6-7:30pm.

Flag of My Father, winner of the GI Film Festival, is a poignant and realistic portrayal of the suffering that Veterans experience as the result of Post Traumatic Stress. GiGi Erneta portrays an Army nurse whose Vietnam Veteran father (William Devane) had instilled in her the importance of personal sacrifice. After returning from Iraq, she still battles with Post Traumatic Stress and her four older half brothers including Daniel (John Schneider).

We would appreciate any and all exposure you can give to this event as 100% of the net proceeds from the screening and fundraiser will go primarily towards the distribution of the hardcopy of the Operation Initiative handbook and other worthy foundations listed inside the Operation Initiative handbook. The book has been designed and organized to aid and assist United States Uniformed Military and their families. Rotary has extended it commitment of "service above self" to reentering military personnel in search of the American Dream.
