"Answer the Call" Fundraiser

The Crisis Clinic of Thurston and Mason Counties
Would like you to join us to Answer the Call and support the vital work the Crisis Clinic does in our community.

Social hour and silent auction will begin at 6:00 pm.

Our guest speaker is Lynn Grotsky, LICSW

Lynn is a licensed clinical social worker presently in private practice as a therapist, consultant and trainer. During the course of her career she has studied the causes and treatments of burnout and vicarious trauma; in her work with clients and nonprofit organizations she has seen the wreckage that occurs when people and agencies fail to deal with these issues in healthy and proactive ways. Lynn has turned theory into practice through her work at Rape Relief of Whatcom County, Monarch Children's Justice and Advocacy Center, Pizza Klatch and in consultation with therapists, child welfare workers, and the staff and volunteers of many local nonprofit agencies. She is a co-author of No Longer Alone: Group Work with Sexually Abused Children: A Practitioner's Guide (Sage Publication), is an adjunct professor at St. Martin's University where she teaches Child and Adolescent Therapy, and manages the hysterically funny feminist band the Righteous Mothers.
