Breaking the Mold with Jet Eveleth
Each month a brand new Guest artist and Focus.
"Physical Scenes and Pieces That Move"
This workshop focuses on finding the physical potential of scene and how to keep the whole show moving.
Biography Jet Eveleth is a member of the iO Theater's improv group The Reckoning and performs in The Armando Diaz Experience and the original show Ted & Melanie. She received her M.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from Columbia College and now teaches Physical and Vocal Training for Columbia's Comedy Studies Program. She has taught for The Second City Conservatory, the iO Theater and was the former artistic director of the Chicago Improv Festival.
"In less than two hours she blew apart and reconstructed our duo form into something better and more organic than ever imagined. During our session she used elements of clown and physical theater. I could not have asked for a more invigorating and inspiring teacher. Get in a room with Jet and she'll remind you why you became an improviser in the first place." -Allison Ungar
