Event
Homeschooler Days, October 2015
What do animals (including humans) need to stay alive? Where do they get nutrients? Learn about what our cells--our very building blocks--need to live. We'll sample some foods that might have been growing wild here in the years before the Bartrams planted their first garden.
Homeschooler Days serve homeschooled students, ages 5 to 13, and meets monthly with morning and afternoon sessions to choose from. This year's topics range from design to cooking, from writing to creating our own music!
Schedule: 2nd Wednesday of every month. Morning session takes place from 10 am to noon. Afternoon session takes place from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Pre-registration is required. Admission is $12 per child or free for Bartram Members. Non-members may pre-pay via Brown Paper Tickets, or pay at the door. For more information about becoming a Bartram's Garden Member, visit: www.bartramsgarden.org/join.
Please note: Program is cancelled if Philadelphia School District is closed for weather emergencies.
For more information, contact Leslie Gale: lgale@bartramsgarden.org or 215-729-5281 ext. 110.
Waitlist is available if registration is full.
