Break out the boogie boards, flip-flops and complex, sophisticated, drug-fueled experimental rock. Puppet Playlist is taking the show to The Beach (Boys). This month, our intrepid band of puppeteers will bring some much needed sun, surf and good vibrations to this cold, grey, wet, grey, cold city.
Puppet Playlist takes brilliant puppeteers and talented musicians and slams them together into an evening of live theater to stir the senses. This Playlist will feature original works of puppetry inspired by the songs of The Beach Boys, mixed with live musical interpretations by some of New York's most exciting young singer-songwriters.
Featuring Pieces By: Kari Love, Kerry Gibbons & Liz English, Renata Melillo & Jonathan Shmidt, Toni Schlesinger, and Jessica Simon
With Music By: Matt Singer, The Debutante Hour, Emily Hope Price, and Swear & Shake.
For the last two years, Puppet Playlist has played to sold-out audiences, and we are a Time Out New York "Critics Pick!" Reserve your seats early, and avoid waiting in the stand-by line.
