Apple Pie Goddesses: Connecting to the Sacred in the Everyday
Apple Pie Goddesses Connecting to the Sacred in the Everyday
The Everyday is alive with meaning. It's rife with a sense of sacredness that allows us to feel peaceful, aligned, and empowered. One beautiful way to access this is to honor each action, no matter how large or small, as an avenue to identify with our own goddess energy. Through this approach we can foster a deeper connection with our self and the world around us.
In this inspiring and practical class, award-winning piemaker and master teacher Kate McDermott will demonstrate her secrets for making the classic American apple pie. Along with Kate's presentation, astrologer and wellness consultant Stephanie Gailing will help you connect to the world of sacred meaning through exploring the three goddesses whose stories come alive through the baking of the pie: Feminist Eris (symbolized by the apple) Protectress Ceres (symbolized by the flour) Devotional Vesta (symbolized by the oven)
Through our exploration you'll learn ways to invoke their energies into your life and more deeply connect with the goddess within. You'll infuse your Everyday with a great sense of sacredness, and experience the calm and great empowerment that this can bring.
Pie and beverage will be served.
The class size is limited to inspire the learning catalyzed by a small group gathering. As such, please register early to secure your spot.
