Event
FYEF Casino Night Gala
Over 4,000 foster youth in California are emancipated from the child welfare system each year and find themselves without proper support for their education. Approximately 250 of those youth are emancipated in the Sacramento area each year. The Foster Youth Education Fund is a non-profit organization created to generate and disburse education grants to emancipating foster youth in the four county Sacramento region. We believe that all children deserve to dream big and to have an opportunity to strive for those dreams through higher education.
Held at Cafeteria 15L in Sacramento, this evening fundraiser celebrates the Foster Youth Education Fund's student honorees and volunteers. Join us for a fun casino night with prizes, an upscale silent auction, and a scene from the fashion show performed by the models.
