Slow Food Homemade Liqueur Class and Wine Tasting
The next Slow Food Kansas City event, and the final event for 2011, will be November 13, 2011, at the beautiful Amigoni Urban Winery Tasting Room located in the West Bottoms. This will be THE holiday event of 2011 that you will not want to miss.

In addition to sampling some of the finest wines Missouri has to offer, in a cool downtown tasting room no less, you will learn how to make homemade liqueurs from three top local chefs: Christopher Elbow, Jasper Mirabile and Craig Adcock. You'll have a chance to taste Amigoni's wines and have a glass of the one you like best.   A selection of sweet and savory nibbles will accompany the tastings.

Only 35 lucky people will get this opportunity, so make your reservations now. We will offer tickets to Slow Food KC members first and then, if there are any spots left, open it to the general public tomorrow, Friday, October 28th. It pays to be a member of Slow Food!

What:  Local wine, cheese, chocolate, liqueurs, rum cake and more recipes to sample made with homemade liqueursseriously!

Slow Food KC Blend coffee from the Roasterie will be available for purchase at the event. Developed by The Roasterie, Slow Food Kansas City Blend is a robust coffee with fruit notes and a smooth finish. This blend, featuring the distinctive red snail Slow Food logo on the label, will be offered for sale in grocery stores and at all Slow Food events.  A percentage of sales comes to Slow Food Kansas City and the group's philanthropies.
