ON THE LINE: The Question of Selective Fisheries
How can we fish on an endangered species? Why do I have to go to Alaska to fish on salmon? What is the real difference between a hatchery fish and a wild fish? What is meant by "selective fisheries?"
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Hedrick Smith will lead some of the most important thinkers, decision-makers, and scientists working in salmon recovery today in a thoughtful analysis of the complex issue of selective fishing.
