Human Impacts Institute One Year Anniversary Fall Fundraiser
Come celebrate our first year of programming and support the year to come by attending the Human Impacts Institute's Fall Fundraiser! Tickets start at just $25. For donations of $250 and more, a one-on-one environmental consulting session will be provided to help you save money and green your office or home!
Enjoy music and dancing from DJ Shiran Nicholson, delicious beer from Sixpoint Craft Ales, wine from Thoreau Wine Society, a live performance art from Josephine Decker. Also come for raffle and auction prizes, including an iPod touch, green consulting services, one-on-one time with Human Rights Watch's environmental researcher, original artwork, and much more!
100% of ticket sales will support our 2012 programming, including our:
MobilizeUS! Campaign, which is mobilizing Americans to support healthy communities and a healthy environment through community-based action;
Hands-on Environmental Workshops on issues such as water quality, climate change, waste prevention, and consumer choice;
Environmental Leadership Trainings for youth to become high-level policy negotiators and join our delegation to the United Nations;
Growing Our Roots program, where individuals are trained in caring for their local environment;
Creative Public Engagement by working with performers, film-makers, and youth to create inspirational outreach materials to promote public engagement and positive action in our communities!
