If you're new to the whole Holler!ween scene, here is some background on the event to get you up to speed.

You may/may not have heard of the band, Wildwood Holler!.  Nine years ago, they played a gig in Greality on the day before Halloween.  About 12 people were there dressed in costumes and the joke of the night was that it was indeed Holler!ween.  The next year the Bellvue Grange was rented and about 50 fans and friends showed for Holler!ween II.  The next two years we returned to the grange, improved our sound/lighting and decor and realized that people really liked and craved a party where archaic revival takes priority over everyday rules.  By Holler!ween IV, we had over 250 people crammed in that tiny grange fit to hold about 100 people.  Ok, time for a new place.  Through mutual friends, we found the "red barn" on a farm north of Fort Collins.  We were offered this amazing space for music and camping in exchange for cleaning the goat shit and pigeon carcasses out of it.  Through magical barn transformation, we created a space worthy of Holler!ween, 3 years in a row.  Last year was an adventure into a new venue space at Grant Family Farms and we are so happy to be back this year for the biggst and best Holler!ween yet!

Talented musicians and crew have created this event year after year to be anything but your typical "party".  This is a gathering of local music fans and their friends, and their friends... etc.  This used to be an event where everyone knew each other by name, but it's hard to keep track when they get into the hundreds.  However, the initial idea should remain that this is a celebration of community and good music amongst friends.  No one should be a stranger.  This isn't the kind of party someone just stumbles upon.  We aren't inviting the world... just people we think would enjoy and appreciate this kind of celebration and leave it to those people to continue to spread the vibe we've created.  By this idea, everyone at Holler!ween is no more than a few degrees separated from everyone else, and it really creates something special.

Note: PLEASE, be a respectable and sustainable festivarian and leave no trace. We are all participants in this event, lets keep it cool. Camping is available and encouraged. FREAK FREELY!!
