Tate W. Zeigler Manager, Government Relations South Carolina Ports Authority
Tate joined the Port in December 2014 as Government Relations Manager, representing the state's public port system with the South Carolina General Assembly, the state's Congressional Delegation, and local government entities. Prior to joining the Port, Tate worked for United States Senator Lindsey Graham, as Campaign Spokesman and Digital Director for Graham's 2014 re-election campaign in Columbia. He also spent three years in Graham's official office in Washington, D.C., including a role as Deputy Communications Director. Tate serves on the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Visioning Task Force and Business Advocacy Committee, as well as the Charleston Regional Development Alliance Economic Scorecard Task Force. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Tate attended Furman University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
