Grand Valley State University New Music Ensemble
Made up of music students from the Grand Valley State University in Michigan, the GVSU New Music Ensemble continues to set new precedents for what a collegiate ensemble can be and sound like. Under the direction of Bill Ryan the group has garnered international acclaim for its ground breaking recordings of Steve Reich's <em>Music for 18 Musicians and Terry Riley's <em>In C. Mobtown Modern is pleased to present GVSUNME as they make their Baltimore debut with a program of new works from the last 10 years.
