Staircase to Heaven: Love, Faith, Prayer
An original play written by Toledo native playwright, Opal S. L. Dunlap.
Three teenagers (K'yawna, Trisha and Tyrone)struggle with life. These three seniors have no idea where their future will lead them or where love, faith and success will fit in. , but one thing they do know is the way to success is prayer and the way to prayer is God. If you asked these three what love, faith and prayer meant, they would probably tell you a little something like this...
Love is lending out your heart; knowing it can be broke.
Faith is believing in something that is hard to believe in just to have hope.
Prayer is a loud cry for help and understanding.
These words may mean multiple things to every individual. But what they don't know is they each have one golden definition that amounts to much more. they are the staircase to heaven.
