The German Soprano Christine Menschner joins the gorgeous American tenor Derek Sellers accompanied by pianist Jason Suchan in the beautiful space of Queen Anne Christian Church.
Enjoy the famous view from Kerry Park after the concert!

About the artists:

Soprano Christine was born and raised in Germany. After finishing the German State Examination in Music and German Education Christine received a Double Master's degree in Vocal performance and Vocal Education from the University of Music "Carl Maria von Weber" in Dresden. Besides teaching in her private voice studio, Christine performed in several operetta and opera productions such as The beautiful Helen", Die Fledermaus",  La Bohème", Mask in Blue", The Tale of Tsar Saltan", Lo frate nn'amorato" , "The Mikado". Recently Christine moved to Seattle and serves as an active performer and board member of Ladies Musical Club.

Derek Sellers is a light lyric tenor who performs regularly throughout the Seattle area. Currently, Mr. Sellers is in the midst of his 5th production with The Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan Society as Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance. You may also find him singing with Seattle Opera, Vashon Opera, Lyric Light Opera, the Seattle Symphony Chorale, Seattle Musical Theater, Opera on Tap, Puget Sound Concert Opera, and many others. Mr. Sellers received his BA in vocal performance from Seattle Pacific University and studied with opera singer Vinson Cole at the Cleveland Institute of Music. ~SDG~

Jason holds a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from Montana State University Billings and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from University of Washington.  As a soloist Jason premiered with the Billings Symphony. He performed with the Seattle Modern Orchestra, the University of Washington Symphony and Chorale and played with the UW Wind Ensemble at Benaroya Hall.
