Roller Derby Double Header!
Hamilton, get ready for a double dip of whips and hits in the final home date of the Hammer City Roller Girls' 2011 season, with both the Eh! Team and the Harlots squaring off against old foes. The action all goes down on Saturday, August 13, at J.L. Grightmire Market Street Arena in Dundas. Doors open at 5:30 pm with the first game set to start at 6:00pm and the second at 8:00pm.
In one match-up, the Hammer City Eh! Team will skate off against the Killamazoo Derby Darlins (Kalamazoo, MI) in a WFTDA-sanctioned bout. These two teams last met in 2008 with Killamazoo coming out on top on their own turf. In the other half of the double header, the Belles of the Brawl (Brantford, ON) will be battling to avenge a loss to the Hammer City Harlots at the CWRDA East Tournament in June.
